Week 42/52: “The Wilderness holds answers to more questions than we have yet learned to ask.” – Nancy Wynne Newhall

Via Flickr:
When you stand at the bottom of the mountain, pre-climb, and look up at the summit, you’ll wonder how you’ll ever get there. They always say, “konti na lang, walking distance na lang,” which were both true and false at the same time. It’s not all about what we see when we reach the summit but how we make reaching the top memorable and worthwhile. It’s about how we experience ourselves during the trek, it’s about the beauty and magic of nature and the appreciation of all simple things all around. It’s really about climb or the journey and the people who make life bearable in spite of all the struggles. So after reaching the top and you’re at the bottom of the mountain again, you’ll look up, now with amazement, be proud knowing you were able to conquer all that to get to that peak. I SURVIVED MT. PULAG!

Yay, 10 more SPs to go! Lol
