Week 7/52: “I’m still a kid inside, and adventure is adventure wherever you find it.” – Jim Dale

I was able to go to an impromptu trip to Corregidor, Bataan last Sunday. Dead tired and sun-burned (not even sun-kissed) at the end of the day. We went on the Corregidor Walking Tour by Old Manila Walks and Sun Cruises (if I’m not mistaken). And when they say walk, it is really walking through the uphill and downhill, through the ruins, the canons and back. We saw old structures that were built and used during the World War II. And went into the Malinta Tunnel where Douglas McArthur escaped to Australia and many more.

It’s one heck of an exhausting adventure that is very much rooted to history.

Thanks Glenn for the shot. 🙂
