And there you go. As simple as that. Women will always be hoping and wishing that there will come a time when boys men will understand that this phenomenon really do happen. Every single month. In these periodical times, every single feeling and emotion is heightened a dozen times in exaggeration.

(This may or may not apply to everyone. LOL. But it certainly applies to me. Just let me go ahead with the third person version haha)

There will be months when anger and irritation is high. Guys, don’t take personal when we get cranky and are very hard to tame and calm down. And yet, please don’t give up doing so. Being angry with us at the same time will just make the situation 10x messier and it will just leave you being the one saying sorry in the end anyway. :-p So, just deep breaths when we start screaming our lungs out or maybe at times be throwing tantrums here and there. A hug will do. Seriously. Well, at least for me, that applies. I may retaliate at first but who can ever resist a hug? Well, that’s saying that you like the person hugging you. LOL.

There will be months when emotions run haywire. Everything is “cryable”. Every sad song or even sappy love songs can make us tear up. Every movie that is emotional or maybe even those that are not. When I say it’s everything, it is everything. I think this gotta to be the worst feeling ever. Solution? Hmm. Let us be. Don’t get impatient or irritated, just shut up and listen. Then hug. Haha. Hugs are my solution to ever disagreement or negativity, I think.

And there will be up months when we’re just sweeter than sugar-coated candies. Those are the months you guys get to enjoy. For a change, since we just want to shower you with our love and giddyness, enjoy it. For it might be different again next month. Haha.

There goes. And writing this only says that I’m feeling one of those three. Which one? Ask the boyfriend. Heads up, my dear, I just need you to understand me more.

These are like mini potato heads whose heads are made up of I dunno, hay or whatever that is and contains grass seeds in them so when watered, grass will be sprouting from its head which will serve as its hair.

Mommy bought us these guys last week as we have been wanting to get them late last year when I saw buy one. And when I search the net on when to buy it, it’s always in Divisoria or Greenhills or somewhere far from me. So I was just so delighted when she texted me last Friday saying that she bought 2 grass heads. Teehee! That’s them originally. She already started growing them at home as I said it usually takes three days to grow some hair.

After scrutinizing that it’s a boy, since both of them has moustache, and that she wants it to be like her (haha), Mom found some stuff to dress them up. And of course I wouldn’t want mine to remain ordinary also. So there goes the revamped look of our grass heads!

Mine supposedly has a kissing look that’s why it’s like that, but looking at it, it just looks like a baby with a pacified. Haha.

So anyway, this is Mom’s project, as she claims for the Chinese New Year, since she’s so into those stuff – Feng Shui, lucky charms and all the fancies, so everything has to be fixed and proper. Haha.

So there goes most of my weekend – family bonding over paints and dogs.

I went home early again today since I was already up around 6am. Ironically, productive and restful day. We painted our newly installed mini gate made especially for the dogs since it’s Zorro’s mating time again, LOL. Mom had them made metal dog houses too, all getting ready in time for the New Year haha. Xylon and I were painting most of the morning then stopped around after lunch to eat and rest and then sleep and I slept some more, since *ahem* my supposedly 4:30 date extended his own nap. Hmf. All is well.

The gummies were taken more than some time ago, I have several more of them that I haven’t edited. I like the layout now, well, as if there’s a big difference. But anyway, I’d love it more if I can customize the fonts too but I have to pay extra for that LOL. In time, in time.

On the side note, this was our groceries last night. LOL. Not too much junk, eh?

19-22, last week of work with nights spent mostly in Megamall for Christmas shopping that never seemed to end. LOL. Mall hours were until midnight then and so was our energy. Haha.

On the 23rd, we still had a private Christmas Party at Astoria Plaza, Ortigas. It was just the Accounting, the MTs and some from other departments plus their kids. I was able to still go home that night at around past midnight I think?

24th, Christmas Eve, we had annual dinner and exchange gifts at Inay and Itay’s. Yummy food plus semi-drunk stories and punch lines completed our night. The boys got drunk over the wine, or so it seemed haha. We went home almost midnight and I opened all the gifts I collected for Christmas.

The boys got me a lamp, which turned out was a raffle prize they won from Mom’s Christmas Party which they had attended. LOL. I still love my lamp, nonetheless.

25th, I had lunch at Leo’s and then we were just supposed to go Christmas shopping at SM for our gifts but then Mom and Dad suddenly wanted to go to Megamall, and so there we go. We went to mass there also. Christmas Dinner at Teriyaki Boy.

26 – 29 Super light work in the office haha. I went undertime on the 29th so that I can avoid the hassles of all going back to the province for the New Year’s. Leo and I met up again for dinner at SM where we met Mom and Dad also.

30th, Went to Cavite/Tagaytay for lunch at Tita Joji’s and see Lola. It still feels sad every time I see her like that. It’s so hard to avoid all the emotions when I remember how she is before. But anyway, we’re still thankful that we’re still complete. She’s turning 86 this January!

31st, Leo and I had our last day of the year pictorial with our matching TOMS We had ham, potato croquettes, carbonara, fruit salad and chips and wine for New Year’s eve dinner after watching the best fireworks in town — TRACE’s! Then last set of gifts for the year Mom got me Eclat perfume.

I would say that this has been the most tiring holiday for me. I wasn’t able to regain the exhaustion due to the stress of the season. I was already sick actually starting on the 29th, so I was almost just asleep due to meds when we were in Cavite. Nevertheless, it was also the Christmas when I felt the most generous even if I had more last year. Though, I’m always like this during Christmas, but still, maybe it’s the effort and excitement to give to as many as possible. I love Christmas!

This weekend started with breakfast at McDo with Carmi. We thought we’d have breakfast for a change, instead of lunch or just merienda. So I came home earlier than usual (naks! ) and spent almost the entire morning catching up since she wasn’t in the country for the holidays. 50% of our catching up meant analyzing our current scenarios and 50% about our friends haha.

And she gave me my Wish list #2! Make-up brushes! Weeee~ I love ‘em. I’ve just been staring at them or getting them out of their cases ever since but still haven’t tried them out. Haha. Maybe I’ll just leave them for display, eh?

I’ve always wanted to try McDo’s Big Breakfast but always either craving for the hotcakes or thinks that I could never finish it off, given that it is big. But then…. I did. Haha.

After a few hours’ nap, Leo and I had late lunch at Bonito’s. Again, for a change instead of eating at home or fast foods. And well, it’s both our paydays haha. NOM NOM the food.

Appetizer, Tomato Surprise. I really love these. They’re just breaded tomatoes with some cheese and bacon and lettuce.

Mine, Ravioli Lasagna. I always get this, maybe 90% of the time that I eat there. It’s just too yummy! I dunno how many blog posts or photos I have of this over the years haha.

Leo’s Chicken Alfredo. Nomnom also of course, but I’m always biased with the Ravioli.

For dinner, we had what lack during the daytime meals – dessert! I blogged about it already last night [here]. Nomnomnom. Mernel’s Chocolate cake, our version of fruit salad/ref cake in a goblet, and Vanilla Ice cream.

But no, our food fest did not end there. We had KFC bucket meal for dinner tonight since according to the boys I already promised them pizza start of the month, but given the time and my poor paycheck with lots of Late time in deductions this cut off, I said pizza will just be on the next payday. LOL.

And to top it off? I weighed myself since I didn’t after the holidays knowing that I gained weight. Yes, I did. More than just a little. Tsk. Oh well, it’s always fun to really pig out at home.

I’ve only started on my fruit salad/ref cake in a goblet and have already slowed down. LOL. There’s always tomorrow for the rest of them!

Last of the 12-day blog!

Oh Christmastime. Well, a jam-packed December even at work can already be expected at this point given our schedule last year. I’m just glad that I have many things to write in my planner, LOL. Iris went home to Laguna yesterday so dinner alone. I created some “potato croquettes” — times when you just love the microwave LOL. Mashed potatoes seasoned with pepper and Chiz Whiz with some corn beef. NOM. It could use a breading also but since I was too hungry, I just fried the potato as in, after mixing it up. I slept early too! 

Hmm. Almost year-end status, eh? Yesterday was literally a working day all day. I was occupied with auditing and other quality department tasks. I didn’t even had the time to feel so groggy. LOL. Had a ritual girly date with Ging at Laybare. Relaxed evening and a happy heart, srsly. ♥
